Creative Barcode Art from Japan

barcodeA barcode or UPC (Universal Product Code) is optical computer readable information of data. Originally, bar codes represented data in vertically aligned lines. Now they come in patterns of squares, dots, hexagons and even geometric patterns within images termed 2D (2 dimensional) matrix codes or symbols. Sound dull right? Not according to a Japanese company called d-barcode. They have cleverly transform barcodes into amazing tiny pieces of art that can be found on products all over Japan.
